writing a short story – main info inside- how do I end it?

The whole of my excersize to use the weather to describe the characters mood. The character is scared because he is locked inside a gallery late at night and feels that the paintings are not acting the way paintings are meant to act. He then begins to question his sanity. Using sibylancy words like silhouette and sinister. But how would my story end. I am thinking about it but it is due tomorrow. Any ideas?

Ever wake up after a bad night, walk out side and it was SO beautiful outside?

But in reality it just another sunny day? Sometimes very bad experiences makes you appreciate life and your ability to enjoy it.

The mind is a funny thing.

You could have the building that your character is locked in have big windows overlooking the city. And in the distance the ocean or mountains with the sun coming over the top of it creating a dazzling sunrise.

Creating a euphoric mood change in your character.

Bah…I’m rambling, but I hope this helps a bit.

    Good luck

Have him/her go insane, so insane that they know that they are insane. Have him/her decide that going insane isn’t too bad, and end it on them going down the path of insanity with a gleeful grin on his/her face wondering what their mind will bring them to next.

He wakes up and sunlight engulfs him
