Writing a novel; how long should chapters be?

I use Times New Roman for font in size 12. How many pages long would you say the chapters should be?
It’s in Microsoft Word, so when I say pages, I mean printer-paper sized. Just making sure everyone knows.

I would say a minimum of ten pages and a maximum of fifty for one chapter.

however long you want them to be!

james patterson has chapters as short as a page, and some books don’t have chapters at all. it’s all about how the writer sees his or her book.

make sure you double space! no one likes reading through single-spaced pages

I would say it doesn’t really matter as long as the chapter covers the desired amount of information you want to cover. But on average, 13-20 pages; I would say.
