Writers Block Help Please?
okay, well I’m currently working on a book and I have it all planned out in my head. the thing is that i don’t know how to start it off!!!! it’s kind of like writers block but not really. I was wondering if anyone else had the same problem or how to cure it. Its in first person point of view, and it would help a lot if u told me whether i should have the story begin at school for the characters or somewhere else. Sorry if this is a confusing question!!

don’t use an ‘introduction’ per say, at all. just start it off mid-stream. like, if the story is about someone named Margaret, you can start it off as “Someone is telling lies about Margaret!”. Rather than “It was like any other day…”
If you have to backtrack to explain things- that just gives you more interesting material to go over later in the book.

if its with a lot of characters then school would be good since it introduces who the main character is like or one side of the person.
good luck with story.

Just start writing from anywhere.
Thare’s no way to know where and when to begin before the piece is written, and if you start now, you’ll have changed the beginning enough times by the end to know where you will want it to begin.
Edit: Honestly, writing is hard at times like this. You have to work through your work before you can know what’s ultimately going to work.
