Writers Block?

I have writer’s block, and I’m trying to write a story for this boy about love and stuff.
What do I write about? Help me please.

  1. Songbyrd11 Says:

Just pull up the screen and write. Don’t try to develop the story, just try to put some ideas down. Slowly you will begin to find your hook, and then the structure takes over. Good luck.

  2. DON'T THINK WITH YOUR MOUTH Says:

You should walk away from the writing project, and do something else. The words will come to you eventually. Don’t have other people give you words for something as personal as love. Most writers do have times when they try too hard, and the words don’t come. Give it time, go for a walk, clear your head, and the words will fall on you like a gentle snow. Don’t force it.

  3. Madeline P Says:

Just pull stuff from the heart and you will find what to write…

  4. Pria Says:

Just take a pen and a pad and write a journal about the small love stories which you must have seen or heard from your friends and close relatives.Small tids and bits. You can choose fictional names. Keep it simple and sweet. Eventually, you will find characters evolving from the stories and gradually you will spin a story from the real life experiences.
Just try it ! It sure will work ! It will get you off the writers block and who knows we will have a Erich Segal in the making ! Good Luck !! :-)

  5. Shadows are Security Says:

Read 2 or 3 novels. This should get your brain going with great idea

Try writing some poetry. You may hate it, but it doesn’t hurt. Also keep a journal, not a diary, and document what went on that day. Go out into public and take notes how people talk, how people react (to anything, really). Write down something that you saw i.e a Robin perched on a tree or a man trying t get somewhere in a hurry.

Brainstorming may be a little bit tricky, and you may need 4-5 people. The trick is to suggest random words, no matter how stupid, and sort through later. When you’re done, put these words into sentences and eventually a story idea.
