Why should poetry belong, when men are
Long, are long, are dreadfully long
Awaiting a right world’s flat aria?
When down this way wrong song
Already and enough to play
With endlessly, bottomless, and along
The words to fit any way they
In a terrible stretch
Can ***?ther to satisfy a valley
Gather them up to fit one stitch.

A lifetime in a few versus
Emotions and descriptions come alive
They dance in our ****?rits,
Squeeze, embracing, our hearts
Pull lips up towards eyes
Create floods; causing our cries
Of joy, of sadness, jealousy ***? well
One written word, a thousand memories
Existential anguish torn from burning pages
Excellence collecting dust on racks
It takes a new turn, towards the uncreative
Simple rhyme and poetry, once unrelated
Takes over the minds of new, innocent soles
