Who is a ****?d writer (Nanowrimo help)?
In need to write a story for NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) in my English class, and I’ve got writer’s block. I was wondering if anybody could give me some idea’s to help out my story. Here’s my basic storyline (well this is kind of a prologue I wrote for it):
Life isn’t ***? easy ***? it was 500 years ago. A simple task ****?h ***? crossing the street could lead to your untimely demise. The year is 2508. The stock market has completely crashed. Money ***? we know it is worth absolutely nothing. Things we used to take for granted are now our only form of ***?rrency. Due to diseases being spread throughout the air, the average lifespan of a human being is now about 40 years old, and animals have been mutilated into much bigger animals due to diseases. “The Element of One” is a story about Michael Hudson, a man with a ***?mily, struggling to survive in the wasteland formerly known ***? the United States of America.
Well i have an overall plot (listed above) ****? I just need help with some ideas to help move the plot along.

What kind of ideas do you ****?t? Like general plot ideas? Or do you already have a plot in mind?

I meet with a group of women in their 20’s and 30’s for Nano every friday. You don’t need to have a complicated plot or anything like that. Just start writing. One of the women in the group, that is a published author, killed her main character (who was a super hero) in a pizza parlor with an M16 then started out with a new plot about a stripper. So , ***? you can ***?e, writing a Nano isn’t really about doing it well, its just about finishing a goal of 55,000 words. Have ***?n. That’s the main goal. Just go crazy with it.

Two possible solutions: 1.) Try to forget about your story for a bit, go to a concert, a museum, a comedy club, or find some ****?h diversion. By the ***?me you start writing again, you might have found some inspiration, or at least relieving the pressure and coming back with rested, fresh eyes can be extremely helpful. ***? a side note, you might find listening to music while writing to be inspiring.
2.) Maybe you feel stuck because: a.) you’re making the story unnecessarily complicated, b.) you have too high of standards, or c.) you don’t feel a strong enough ***?rsonal connection to your story. I think the words will flow naturally if you write what you know and care about, and if you relax and reduce your fear of mistakes. Remember, you can always edit the story later, right now just try to connect with something you ****?t to get across, ideally something you think could help, influence, or entertain others, especially others you care deeply about, and then the story should more or less write itself. ****?d luck, ****? most importantly, have ***?n!
P.S. Since you ***?t the story in the ***?ture (2508) you could include aliens, imaginative new inventions, and ****?h things that could be allegories or symbols for anything you ****?t. I suggest injecting some humor into the story, and/or some emotional inter-personal drama, or ***?lf discovery. There should be a pressing primary goal a character has, or a group of characters have, that they pursue while battling obstacles that threaten to come in the way of them achieving their goal. This is a general suggestion, and not a rule, ****? it is to plots what 4/4 ***?ming is to rock music.
There is something called “anti-novel,” and that is a genre that rejects certain conventions ****?h ***? plot, structure, and most of what is taught in English classes. Honestly, if you enjoy what you’re writing, and you write candidly, I have no doubt that your final draft will be excellent. I’d be happy to share more thoughts with you if you’d like. Take care.
