Where can I find a creative writing site that has poetry challenges?
For example, it could be like “write a poem about a dead lover, it has to be no more than 100 words” or more intricate than that.

I used to use a great site but the anme changed a bit. It’s something like “kalliope.com”. I’m sure you can find it in a Yahoo search. It has assignments, various forms, and challenges to write poems in this or that style.

It has a very long list of poetry contests. Just one thing– you have to sign up. However, it’s free, so don’t worry about that.

How to write POETRY.
