What is a good non fiction book about World War II?
I am taking a class on world civilization and have to read a non-fiction book and then write a review on it. I need some suggestions for what book I should read. You must know that I do not like history!! With that said, I am looking for a book that is interesting and not written for a historian. It has to be on world history, I would prefer to read about World War II. Anyone have any suggestions?

3 Came Home…..it is a book written by a female American Author who was held in a Japanese concentration camp during WWII….You could always read “Night” or “Diary of Anne Frank” but this is truly a different perspective than we are usually presented with.

Hiroshima by John Hersey places six real people in Hiroshima right before, during, and after the explosion of the atomic bomb. It is short, readable, and will really make you think. I taught it to high school students and they were quite interested in it.
