What is a good Historical Fiction book for my World Studies class in high school?
It can be Fiction or Nonfiction, as long as the setting is a real place and the time is in the past. The book has to be at least 300 pages long. If it’s a lot more pages than that, im fine. I’m a total bookworm.

Books by Leon Uris. Exodus, about the founding of Israel, or Mila 18, about the Warsaw ghetto. He wrote others. Very readable.
If an American setting is acceptable, try Gore Vidal.
Frankly, I’d choose Leon Uris.

Leon Uris’ “the Exodus” would be my first choice. In second place, Michener wrote “Hawaii” which is an excellent work of historical fiction.
