What can I do if I like writing poetry and someday have a book published but some people dont take me serious?
I have written several poems and once won 2nd place on school but some people say is just luck how can i actually have them convince

If you get published, you will have gotten farther than most poets. Be happy with your success. And perhaps, later generations will appreciate you more than this one!

self-publish it!!!that’s why they call it “desktop publishing”;now you can do it all your damn self!!!!

You’ll never convince everyone of anything. Be happy in your successes–some people will be jealous or resentful or will have different sensibilities about what makes art. Good luck and keep writing.

Dont worry about what other people think. You love writing poetry and thats a wonderful thing to have such a talent and everyone has different thoughts on what they like and dont like. Just keep writing and publish your work when the time is ready…….And all the best.
