Hitler's Daughter by Jackie French
When Hitler stole Pink Rabbit by Judith Kerr
The Lion, the witch and the wardrobe C.S Lewis doesnt centre around the war but is set in that time frame.

The Wall: Growing Up Behind the Iron Curtain.
doesn't really focus on the war(or literature for that matter), but it is very interesting to see directly how the war affected everyone's life during it.

They are not fiction but three books that feature the wartime writings of Ernie Pyle are excellent: 'Brave Men', 'Here is Your War', and 'Ernie Pyle in England'. Amazing writing.
I also recommend 'The Caine Mutiny' by Herman Wouk, 'HMS Ulysses' by Alastair MacLean, and 'The Cruel Sea' by Nicholas Monsarrat.
