What are some good ideas for a short story?


I’m having to write a short story in English class and it has to have something to do with a pair of boots. I’m completely stuck and need ideas.

    Realistic or not?

    The boots could run away and hang out with other boots. Or it could be a story about how important these boots are to an old man living on a farm. Idk I`m just making stuff up. Good Luck :D
