What are some good Historical Fiction Books?
I would love to read a good book for teens on War Histoical Fiction. And good books.

The Other Boleyn Girl is a great book, i recommend it to anybody who asks for a good book. Historical Fiction, based on a real story/event. Major backstabbing and treason make the book run and enjoyable to read. Very long and captivating from the first pages.

Not about war but Wilbur Smith’s Egypt series is good.

Ah, the only book I can think of right now is “47,” by Walter Mosely. Though it’s about slavery instead of war. It’s also part sci-fi, yet still a good book.

Like someone already mentioned, Lord of the Rings is Fantasy….I thought everyone knew that.
Anyways, what someone also had recommended, The Other Boleyn Girl by Philippa Gregory.
I love (these way more than the above mentioned)The Blood Countess by Andrei Codrescu (It’s about Erzsébet Báthory; The Countess who bathed in Virgin’s blood) and The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova…just look under historical fiction at a bookstore or something…there are different kinds of historical fiction that range from ancient Greece to 19th century Europe. The books I listed are stuff I like.

The Killer Angels
These are Civil War books. I think that there is one more book, but I can’t remember the other one. They are by Jeff Shaara and his son.

The Memoirs of Cleopatra by Margaret George.
The book is huge but its so good. It’s one of my favorites.

streetboys is a good one. it’s about boys in italy during world war II. Great book for a teenager.
