hmgah, i’ve tried writing songs, but my mind is soo completely BLANK.

With all my blankets in a heap
….oops, I think some-one already wrote that.
How about something like that, though.
Your day……who was it wrote that catchy song? oh Blur, about feeding the pigeons in the morning, etc. all mundane things….but, it was a hit.
So, in your case…..
Rolled out of my crumpled sweat-stained bed
My underpants mysteriously on my head
Tiptoed over the piled up junk and messes
To inspect my zits and my golden tresses
……..yeh, I know it stinks, but 1) I’m an old lady and 2) I don’t write songs…..apart from that I’m perfect for the part.

I think your trying to hard…think of something extraordinary to share and then put it into words. Block is an excuse to quit….the mind is like a parachute…it only works when it’s open.
