I am trying to anaylze 2 poems for a project for British Lit 2.
One poem I thought about comparing is William Wordsworths’ “London 1802″ with another poem from a british poet from the 20th century.

Are there any british poets whose poetry reflects the views of WW in the 20th century? What poem?

I love historical fiction and would love it if someone can recommend some books. I am interested in anything from the civil war, to the oregon trail, to WW2. thanks a bunch!

Im a guy, and im in college.

i like the military, and fiction. i also like things that are deep and philosophical and makes you contemplate life and the such.

I dont like the overly extravegent literary books which take half a page to describe the wallpaper in a room and tries too hard to seem like a brainey book for english professors.

I dont like sci-fi or books like lotr.

Give me some suggestions. THANKS!
I also like non-fiction accounts of military battles like “Black hawk down” and “Bravo two zero”

Id prefer if it was aobut ww2 or later.
