I know you italicize for a long book or novel but for a short story would you put the title in quotes or italicize?

I’m writing a comparison essay that focuses on themes and techniques. Once a second text has been chosen, a thesis question will be made.
I’m looking for a film or a novel that I can compare to Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. If you choose to answer, please state how they can be compared
Thank you very much

i need to write an essay on why i want to pursue creative writing. so far i have this:
The reason why I want to pursue creative writing is fairly simple. When I write its like I am putting my feelings out of my brain and sharing it with the rest of the world. When ever I write I feel like I’m doing myself a favor and letting everyone read what I feel and think. I get to explain my many thoughts and beliefs on paper using any technique of writing and words.
can anyone give me some more advice on whatelse i can say in my essay.

I have to do a Creative Writing essay/piece for English and I know that I want to do a story but I need ideas.
I was thinking a horror story, because they are more interesting. But who will the characters be and what will they do? What will happen? Please don’t miss out any details if you decide to answer.
Thanks in advance =]
As you can tell, I am not very creative. Hehe x
I’m not taking it. I have to do it as part of my GCSE Coursework. I just can’t think of any ideas.

Basically when refering to the title of the poem what do you do; do you underline? Place in speechmarks etc..
Do you to start a new paragraph indent or miss a line?
When quoting from the poem, what rules do you follow?
