Creative writing ***?ps, ideas, exercises, story starters and much more

Creative writing has always been my ***?vourite kind of writing. To be honest, I don’t like poetry or journalism. In school I finished my first year of journalism only to decide I didn’t like it, there are too many rules.

That’s what is great about creative writing, you only have one rule; anything goes. Basically the only requirement is to figure out how you’re going to write the next great novel, are you going to draft it out via outline, brainstorm, or just go with the flow.

I like writing on the fly, I just open up a Microsoft word document and start typing. Some ***?ople can’t do this, and need ****?anization and structure, not me.

When I quit journalism in school, it was around that ***?me that I also stopped writing. Sometimes life just grabs you by the ****?ns and doesn’t let you go. Years later, I felt lost or empty like I was missing something. Then suddenly I was laid off and found I had a lot of ***?me on my hands…that’s when I started to write again.

As soon ***? I started creating fictional characters and story-lines, I felt like my old ***?lf again, that I could accomplish anything. I felt like a kid, who had her whole life ahead of her.

I decided to create a website http://www.creative-writing-help.com, to help ***?ople just like me re-discover the joy of writing.

Things in your life might be stressful or not going well, ****? writing can help you deal with those stresses. ***? soon ***? I sit down at my computer, I use my life experience to help weave wonderful stories and plots.

Currently I am in the process of getting one of my novels published, and this wouldn’t have happened if I hadn’t taken up writing again.

Thanks and happy writing.

Where do I go to paste my poetry?

I like to write poetry, but no one is interested in hearing it. Also when I find a good bit of poetry, I like to show it. Like this:

The night has a thousand eyes, and the day but one;
Yet the light of the bright world dies with the dying sun;
The mind has a thousand eyes, and the heart but one;
Yet the light of a whole life dies when love is done.

Could someone help me if they are not spell bound by these enchanting words? And tell me if you like them, I know I do.
Is there such thing as a poetry.com? I would check but it leads me somewhere else. Please, please, please help!
This isn’t my poem, by the way. I love it though! I am not THAT good at all! I am working on it…

Why do I get writers block, right when i’m about to write my essay? Help me fix this paragraph please?

I’m a great essay wirter, I really think I am.
But lately i’ve been getting serious writers block right when i’m about to write.
Here’s my crappy first paragraph.

“Howard Hughes’s [amazing, controversial, accomplished] life was excellently told in Brown and Broske’s biography, Howard Hughes: The Untold Story. The title of the book is rightfully so, because authors dug up many secret telegrams and interviews that not many people knew about back in Hughes’s times. They also uncovered the few secret documents that weren’t burned by Hughes himself. The authors covered his whole life; from his almost abusive childhood, to his psychotic and tragic death.”

Please help me revise. Thanks!
In the brackets are words im considering using there.

I know this is really crappy. My essays are usually a lot better. I just got the brain of a second grader right when I was about to begin.
