creative writing questions and answers
;Thanks In Advance
I’ve worked on the characters, planned out the chapters, and have most of the sorry line finished (only a few minor details to work through). I’m ready to start writing, but I just can’t get it started! I need a little push to get me going. Does anyone have any advice?
All advice and suggestions are welcome! Thanks in advance for your help.

I would prefer if they would be a bit dark. Something in the direction of the Twilight series by Meyer and Wicked Lovely by Marr.

I have been asked to write something for our high school yearbook. It is sort of a tribute to a retiring science teacher who has been with our district for 30+ years. Please help with ideas, thoughts, suggested versus, a jumping off point, or even web sites that could help me with the construction of this passage.
Thanks in advance. - luzchristina11

And I don’t want anything juvenile and silly. No fantasy books either. Just exciting, real world fiction, something unpredictable please.
I’m going on a trip and I need a good book to keep me entertained.
Thanks in advance

I am trying to remember the title of a book I read several years ago. There is a whole series about a boy who is able to control fire. In the novel he is one of the last people who are able to do this. I also recall something about the boy having a telepathic link with some animal (I think it was a horse).
The book is probably classified as either “young adult” or “juvenile” fiction.
And for some reason the word “firestorm” comes to my mind, but this is not the title of the book.
Thanks in advance for any help you are able to give, this is really bugging the crap out of me. - The Penguin Protectorate

I have been an avid novel reader and have mainly read thriller, mysteries, etc. I have enjoyed medical thrillers immensely although I have read some law and techno thrillers. All of the stuff without any real merit lol However, I want to broaden my horizon and begin to read about real life events, topics, people, etc. I need to start with some non-fiction books that are exciting enough to hold my interest, and then I will sort of “wean” myself from this need for excitement.
Does anyone have non-fiction titles to start with? It doesn’t matter the topic, just needs to be interesting and reasonably exciting.
Thanks in advance for your answers! - John S

Please suggest books for my 14 year old son.
He has read the SE Hinton books and wants something similar to Outsiders, Rumble Fish and That Was Then This is Now.
No Harry Potter or Sci Fi or Sports.
Please include title and author.
Thanks in advance.
No..no..no.. I am not banning books!!
My son is not a big fan of reading, however he discovered that he loved the SE Hinton books and so I am trying now to keep him interested in reading by finding more of the same genre/style.
I loooove to read, I would never ban books. - Shashee
