Questions

Just curious what others think, I love Lisa Jackson, and Karen Robard, but sometimes they have just a little too much romance and I feel like they repeat themselves a lot. I’m not really into political, religion, or spiritual novels, but just plain old murder/mystery! When I was a teenager I read a lot of RL Stine, hopefully now you can see what type of authors I like! I’m something of a budding writer, and would like to join a group that actively critiques work of its members, or perhaps a group where there can be a writer co-op for a story of whatever…the genre is mainly fantasy, although i’m open to other stuff. Thanks for your help in advance.

I just finished reading Ken Follet’s “Pillars of the Earth” and it was the first historical fiction ive ever read. I loved it! Im looking for something similar that takes place in or around England. Thanks for your help!

What is the best book not only about the military but also a persons experience in the military or a fictional book.i would prefer non-fiction but anythings good.

I teach English and my students would like to learn some poetry that is known by almost everyone (I mean average people who are at least a bit interested in literature) in GB or English speaking world. Could you suggest what it may be and maybe there are some sites where I could find this piece?
It could also be just an author.
