Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone knows where to get old science fiction art from paperback books that were released in the 60’s. Were any old sci-fi covers made into poster format. Im thinking of books by Heinlein, Bester, Van Vogt.

I’m trying to find a good sci-fi book to read. I enjoy reading about time travel theory, but not super cliche time travel stuff, if you know what I’m talking about. I’m also really into Doctor Who, so if anyone has read any of those books, which one would you recommend? Something preferably on the shorter side too, so maybe no more than 500 or 550 pages. Thanks.

i understand that the story takes place in the future and is based on an underground city, which makes it sci-fi. But are there any other reasons? and how is it an example of fantasy? thankss! (:

I understand there weren’t a lot of books concerning traveling to other planets. so what concepts actually were incorporated into sci-fi at that time period?

I was discussing sci fi stuff to someone and I mention the movie Nighteen Eighty Four”. I now feel that it not really science fiction.

Would it be considered science fiction?

A group of friends get together on a monthly basis to watch sci-fi/fantasy movies and potluck. We hang out, but we all have young kids and we’re looking for new ideas to keep them involved and since even the food is themed, we are looking for themed games for the kids.
