Next month is NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month), and I am hopelessly without a plot. Usually I have some sort of idea laid out, but this year I can’t think of anything interesting.

I write a little and want to get a little exposure. I know that there are web magazines that take drama and sci fi, but I wanted to see if there were any print magazines that still take short stories in fiction. If so, what are their web addresses?

I guess Im mostly interested in ***?ntasy and historical fiction ***?t in medevil ***?mes. I like Robert Jordan and Robin Hobb. I also really like Stephan Donaldson. Know any authors along those lines?Thanks for the recommendations!!!

I have several sci-fi short stories and I was wondering how many is too many to include in a book for publication? How many pages is too many?

I have found through careful research and discussion that science fiction isn’t appreciated enough anymore. It’s usually too weird, nerdy or uninteresting. But is there a way to bring it back to its glory days and make us proud of sci-fi…

I’ve written a fantasy novel and have been looking through the writers and artists yearbook for agents. If they say they handle ‘general fiction’ and don’t say ‘no fantasy or sci-fi’ then is it worth submitting to them or will they instantly discard it because it’s fantasy?

I’ve heard blue blood, silver kisses, vampire kisses, etc were good but not sure …i get bored VERY easily with a book so it has to really catch me…. something with a really strong romance story. it doesn’t have to necessarily be about vamps or wolfs… like i said fantasy/sci-fi fiction romance.
