I need all my medical professionals on this one, a relative of mine recently recieved radiation treatment and I was wondering how safe it is for her to visit with a 2 year old? I was under the inpression that it’s not very safe b/cuz the baby is still developing and she has radiation running through her body which could cause a problem for the baby. Im not a doctor or nurse and really have been using my own decrection on this but would like to know what is fact vs. fiction for this type of situation.

I heard of people reading about the first 12 chapters of Midnight Sun and I want to know where you can find them… but I’m afraid about running into fan fiction. So please let it be a reliable source if you know of one.

What is the name of the short story by Isaac Asimov about a post apocalyptic automated house? The story tells of an automated house running like clock work even though there is no longer anyone alive to be working for. In the end the house burns down and can’t save itself because it wasted all the resources on feeding a family that was already dead. Anyone know what the name of the story is?

I’m running some sessions on creative writing with a group of 13 - 15 year-olds (excluded from main-stream education). They’re an imaginative bunch, but I’ll definitely need to keep things varied to maintain their interest. Any simple ideas for activities I can get them involved in?
