I Need to know how to get my poetry book published. im not going to show you the poems im afraid of people copying them.

I hate writers block so much!

It seems I always have it and I can never write, but I also put a lot of pressure on myself to write. People are always telling me that I should just let it come to me, but it doesn’t but I suppose I should just let it go with the flow, if I can’t write one day I’ll go back and try another day.

It just gets so frustrating, It’s a natural talent, I haven’t taken any classes I just one day started to write, and I showed it to some people and they said hey you are pretty good at it, I enjoy the feeling or writing and creating something, but sometimes I feel that i just do it for the praise.

But other times i feel like I really love it and do it for me, I don’t know it just comes much harder for me.

What do you do for writers block? Got any suggestions for me?
Just as a side note, I like to write everything. Songs stories and poems, and I’m actually pretty good at all of them, so I’m told lol.

I tend to punctuate poems. In the rare ***?mes when I leave a poem unpunctuated, I feel ***? if I have illegally passed a stop sign. What’s your take on this?

I’ve always been a writer, i write all the time, short stories, poems, scripts and plays… you name it. But about 8 or 9 months ago i broke up with my partner of 2 years and since then i just cannot write, nothing comes to me and if it does i lose it quickly. I’m not exactly unhappy, i have a great life with great friends and a new partner… Why can’t i find my muse? (the source of my inspiration)

Ok, so i’ve been going through quite the writers/art block. I’ve really felt like writing a poem that can tell a story. (if you ever write songs or poems you know exactly how i feel right now.) and im really drawing a blank. I’ll admit, i have forcing myself to express myself when i don’t have anything strong enough to really express, so i REALLY REALLY need your help.

But please no love stories. I want really emotion, and love is so complicated yet so simple to explain. i really want something with meaning. (other than love. those are so common don’t you think??)

ok, so used be a really good writer, I would write all the time, story’s, poems, scrips i would write all the time! But now i just don’t anymore, I never get good ideas and when i sit to write nothing comes out. I’ll just sit there with My fingers poised over the key bored and i might write a sentence or two. How do i get my creativity flowing again? how do i get back to the way i was????

A recent statistic indicates that nearly 25% of Americans as well as Canadians have been either directly or indirectly captured on film for use on television. Generally this is the result of local television news coverage, but it could also be because of television game shows, talk shows, reality TV or other audience driven programs.

Any Warhol once said, “In the future everyone will be famous for fifteen minutes.” The Internet makes that more possible than ever. A funny video clip makes it possible for the infamous to have a measure of fame on a site like YouTube and then redistributed through social media sites around the globe. This would not have been possible ten years ago.

Because so many people would like to have a measure of fame, you can leverage that desire to improve your site promotion strategies.

How?

I’d like to present some ideas for on site contests that may improve site promotion and improve traffic building.

1. A Writing Contest - Set some guidelines for your site visitors. Allow them to create an essay based on either a word prompt or idea. You could also ask for a short fictional story as an alternative using your product as something that is used within the framework of the story.

2. A Photography Contest - Invite visitors to submit their best photo on a particular theme. You can also take it another step further by asking contestants to somehow include your product in the photo in a tasteful way.

3. A Poetry Contest - This type of contest can be another positive site promotion tool. Customers can adopt a certain style or theme. You may include your product as the poems inspiration, but don’t limit ongoing contests to simply rehashing familiar territory.

In each of these contests the visitor should be made aware that the winning entry will be published online, but the ownership of the work remains the original writer’s should they desire to publish the item elsewhere.

Some businesses have even allowed their site visitors to develop a visual advertisement as a contest. Some of these so-called amateur video ads have made their way to television and have ignited careers that have moved into the realm of professional.

Sometimes by appealing to idea of the ‘fifteen minute fame’ theory you can engage visitors in a creative process that is interesting to visitors and important to those who are creative. It may even inspire a little dreaming on the part of creative site visitors.

As far as a prize is concerned many may be happy just seeing their work on the web, but I would also include a gift certificate to purchase products from your online store. You could offer a cash prize, but a certificate provides the best chance the winner will return to shop with you. This of course is the end result you hope for in site promotion activity.

If you run this type of contest regularly you may see improved site visitation as interest grows in your online contests.

I write poetry, nothing serious, but recently I’ve overcome depression and have come to love my life. Poetry makes my day, so do you suggest a good book? Or a writer that you know writes those kind of poems. Also, any good book that falls under this category? No Twilight, thankyouverymuch.
