creative writing ideas about a studious college student?

Please give me some details or a plot and some action about a studious college student. Maybe his background (parents, siblings, race, friends) or just his personality. My paper doesn’t have to be long, only about 2 pages but I just need a jump start. The story has to be happy and light and airy, and not somber. Thanks in advance!

Medicines For The Jobless: Writing The Best Medical Cover Letter

The health care industry is fast growing all over the world. As there are more and more ways to fight infections, heal people, and make people feel better about themselves, there are more and more job openings for scientists, pharmacists, nurses, medical technologists, and doctors. There are also thousands of people applying for jobs in this burgeoning industry, so you may find it difficult to stomach the competition if you emerge naïve from school and expect to find employers dying to hire you.

To penetrate through the crowd of job applicants, you will need to be competitive: you have to have the highest grades, the best resume and work experience, and great recommendation letters. You also need a great cover letter to show what the rest of these documents don’t: the fact that you have personality, you can handle the stress of the health care profession, and you are resourceful. Moreover, a great cover letter can sometimes make up for average grades, a thinner-than-usual resume, and flat recommendations.

Why is a cover letter so powerful? Your resume will list only your qualifications, but it cannot show you how confident you are after earning all these qualifications. Your transcript of records will show how well you did on your examinations, but it cannot tell your prospective employers how well you applied all the things you learned in real life situations. Your recommendation letters can say that your professors or former employers were pleased about you, but they cannot say if you can meet the goals, mission, and vision of your new employers.

Your cover letter should therefore show personality, your ability to be resourceful, and your goals aligned with those of your prospective employers. Your medical cover letter is your chance to show that behind all those achievements is a living, breathing human being who is not only about books and the academe, but who can get out and work and be a productive member of society. Take advantage of this power by creating a great medical cover letter.

Show that you can lend a personal touch to what you do, and be resourceful while doing so. Do a lot of research on the health care institution to which you are applying, and make sure that its goals are aligned with yours. Are you working on a study that matches the research work done at the health care institution? Mention this study, and show that you can contribute a lot to the institution, thanks to your expertise. Your medical cover letter is, in essence, a love letter to the health care institution: show that you are compatible, and that you can benefit a lot from each other.

Unlike a gushy, mushy love letter, however, a good medical cover letter should be terse and to the point. Avoid using language that might make prospective employers roll their eyes or reach for their dictionaries. Your prospective employers have little time to digest poetry or hear about your adventures in your laboratory. They want to see if you are fit to work for them, so get straight to the point.

Ask for an interview, then provide all your pertinent, valid contact information. Add one last personal touch by signing your name. Wait, and then do follow up calls if you do not hear from your prospective employers.

Writing a cover letter can be difficult if you do not know your goals and achievements. If you know yourself, however, and if you can successfully convey your passion and enthusiasm for the health care industry, then you can land the job you want. Just be your professional, tactful self, and that cover letter may soon spell your success in this career.

Girl who needs dating advice from gay men? What is fact and what is fiction?

So that I can learn more about what the h*ll goes in a guy’s head…

Fact or fiction?
1) Guys think about sex everyday. Or Every hour?

2)Guys rarely cry. They find chick flicks boring since they are inherently unemotional.

3) Guys think about quantity and not quantity. I.e the more people the have sex with, the more confident they feel about themselves. The person’s personality is not the issue.

4) Guys think girls are high maintenance, picky, and weak (i.e pussies when it comes to physical challenges, sports, etc..)

0__0 I also asked for dating advice, but I have nothing specific in mind..so anything goes.

6 Step Plan to Becoming a Professional Article Writer for 6k4you

Do you want to make lots of money 6k4you online? Who doesn’t, right? Working at home on your own time frame can be wonderful business, but what is the best way to do this? Write articles for publishers. You may be thinking that it would be way to difficult for you, but the surprising answer is that almost anyone can do it.

If you think about it, people who publish are often viewed as experts in the subject they are publishing about. When someone is viewed as an expert, more and more people will buy from him or her.

So, you are having writer’s block? Well, who doesn’t? This is very common, and can be overcome by simply getting started and do it over and over again. Repetition will make you a better writer, and it will actually make it more fun for you.

Whenever you start any new endeavor, you must have a pan, right? O.K., so let’s get working on a plan.

1. Start brainstorming. Now, it is highly important that you don’t just sit there and think. You need to record your ideas down on paper or on your computer. What are you going to write your articles about? You need to have ideas. So, you have no ideas at all? Well, go look at other articles on the Internet. This might give you some good ideas to get going.

Now, that you have some ideas, think about what you are an expert at. What have your experiences been? How can you help other people with your knowledge? As you are thinking, make sure to record everything that comes to your mind. Even if a title for an article comes across, record it.

2. So, what do you do next? Well, it really depends on your personality. You might like to organize all of your thoughts down and make an outline, or you might want to just start writing from there. It really doesn’t matter how you do it. Whatever works for you is what is best.

3. Writing articles should never become boring. If it does, it probably means that you are not putting enough of yourself into it. Write the article like you would write it. Don’t try to copy another style of writing you have seen. When people read your article, they want to know who you are.

Just remember not to advertise in an article. People will quickly quit reading. It is an article, not an advertisement. Yes, you can mention your product or service and even give the URL or email address, but it isn’t an advertisement.

4. Read your article aloud. Yes, it is good to read it aloud to yourself, but also read it to other people. Preferably, read it to someone who will ask you questions if they don’t understand something.

5. Never forget to edit your article. This can be a costly mistake. Use your computer to spell check for you. Have someone else edit it for you as well. Remember, your computer won’t catch all grammar errors.

6. Congratulations! Your 6k4you article is finished.

Now it is time to submit the article to as many article directories and e-zines as you can. There are plenty of free article directories out there.

Looking for science fiction book about people who have an animal doppelganger or “other”?

At a conference a few weeks ago, someone told me about a science fiction / fantasy book where the characters all have an animal ‘other’, who is always near them and mirrors their personality. Does anyone know that this book is called? I’ve forgotten the title and would like to read it. Sorry for the lack of information.

Can I get sued for writing a novel about someone I know without getting their permission first?

The novel itself will be a fictional account of something that really happened. If a person recognizes themselves as a character in my story can they take legal action against me? More importantly, can they win?
The main antagonist in my story is starting to seem more and more like an ex-friend/boss of mine. The real bummer is that his personality is so generic that I would have probably wrote it the same way even if I had never met him.

What is the name of the literary device when a character’s name also describes his/her personality?

I’m pretty sure it’s not a double entendre. Like if a character named Purity is very pure and innocent…
Thank you,
Rebecca
