Don’t Let Writer’s Block “Ruin Your Life”

We’ve all been there, you wake up one sunny morning feeling happy and ***?ll of beans when suddenly you realise that you have completely lost your ability to write so much ***? a short paragraph. You have the dreaded writer’s block and no amount of paper staring is going to ***?re you.

What you need in this frustrating situation is some simple steps to get you right back on track and the system below should get you writing again.

Choose a topic that you love – While you’re getting your writing hand back in order forget about work and *****? a topic that is either a ***?rsonal hobby or something that you consider yourself an expert in.

Make a ****?der chart – This may sound kind of childish ****? the best next step is to get a big sheet of paper with your topic in the middle and ****?der out with all the different ideas related to your chosen subject. This will help you dig into interesting areas and uncover gems that will be a joy to write up.

Just write – Now that you have your completed ****?der graph of ideas its ***?me to get writing. The key is to write down anything that springs to mind and not to stop until every last thought has been captured on the page. If nothing comes to mind on the topic then just write random words and pretty soon you’ll be back in the flow and doing great work.

Do nothing – After the “Just Write” phase put your work away and don’t look at it for three days.

Edit like hell – Now revisit your work and start to make your changes, on average the best writers will need up to five drafts to get a piece of work right, so be ***?rsistent.

Refer back to these four simple steps whenever your in a block and you should be back on track in no ***?me.
