My city library propositioned me to coordinate a creative writing contest where participants can write prose, poetry or draw on the given topic.

So i was in a fix when deciding what topics to put down!
Can you help with some!
They can be related to current affairs or anything recent.

The contest is for 2 groups. Under 15 and above 15.

I know this is sort of in the wrong area but I posted this question in the writing area and no one responded.

Besides, I want my book to have a religious theme anyways so I suppose it does fit.

For those of you who don’t know, Nanowrimo is National Novel Writing Month where the participants try to write a 50 000 word novel in 1 month (the month of November).

The problem is, I need a little bit of help with some story ideas. Not a full plot or anything, just a tiny little detail that might be interesting to work in.
