Questions

From what people tell me I am an excellent writer. But I can only write free verse poetry. I want to learn rhyming poetry. Can anyone send me a link to a good guide?

I’ve recently started writing poetry and would like to improve, and would like opinions from people online where I can post my work and get it seriously critiqued.

I’m just wondering what groups all of you use. I’ve heard of so many different groups but I can’t decide on which one I want to use.

I’m more looking for an active site with many different writers, one that gives long serious critiques and I can give critiques in return. Free of course, and a nice, simple, layout.

I used to be part of an online poetry forum where you could post poems, and get feedback. unfortunately, the webmaster closed the site a few yrs ago. Now, I’m getting into short story writing. does anyone know of any good online forums where people are serious about writing and where there’s a small, yet active community?

The last online poetry contest that I entered was a scam. I want to make sure that I could submit a poem to a decent contest. Any suggestions?

Coming from italian descent, but unable to speak fluently, I am searching for a few italian poems to convert, and explore the possibility to base a song from them. Rearangeing and personalizing them into lyrics for a song I have been working on. A good source for online poetry, in more then one language, would help emmensly. Note that I do not intend to plagerize, I simply want to learn more about it and come to my own version of what ever I use. Anything that is used by myself will be cited and credit given to whoeverso deserves it.
