I’m thinking of writing a historical fiction story about an english child that is lost (in america) and local indians raise her as their own and later she is found by her family or something along those lines. I want the story to be as realistic as possible and in the timeframe of 1500’s to 1800’s. I know the main story is unlikely to be true but I’d like it to be as historically right as possible.
I can’t figure out where to start. Does anyone have some good website on New England indians or anything else that can help me?
I will not be paid for this writing… it is for pure entertainment and I have never heard of another book like it.
