Names for a dark bay thoroughbred gelding?

I’m writing a book for NaNoWriMo, and the horses in my story play a major role. My main character’s horse is a dark bay thoroughbred gelding. He is amazing at show jumping, he’s quick, and is spunky. Any suggestions?

NanoWriMo and livejournal questions?

I was thinking of signing up for NanoWriMo (where you write a 50,000 word novel in november) because I’d really love to be write more and I think this would be a good way to help me just – get to it

But –

I’m seventeen, and school is pretty stressful/crazy and will continue to be so – should I just join anyway, even if I may not actually finish?

And I was also thinking of joining livejournal to post some random writing when I feel the need, rather than having a blog-friendish-type thing

Any insight?

thanks!

NaNoWriMo? Are YOU a participant?

What’s it like? Is it really as hectic and crazy as they say it is?? Or is it easy going and fun?

I’m working on an actual novel right now, and I signed up for it. The past few days I’ve written about 1,600 words (which is what is recommended to write each day in order to win). And that’s carefully planned writing. So if this is just off-the-handle, write whatever comes at you writing…I should have no problem. Right?

What did you do in advance? Did you plan it all out; or did you just think of a basic plot, then start working on the detailed idea when November rolls around?

For all you aspiring writers out there.are you ready for NaNo this year?

National Novel Writing Month 2007. Are you ready and willing to try to write a story of at least 50,000 words in 30 days? November 1 to November 30th NaNoWriMo.org

How do you exclaim “That’s what she said!” in French?

Quite the random question, but it’s the result of trying to write a 50,000 word novel in a month (I’m a bit late for NaNoWriMo). And yes, it is meant to be used as some sort of sexual joke.

What does pepsi taste like? I need to describe it for my writing?

I’m writing a nanowrimo and my character is having Pepsi. It needs to taste good to her. She likes the caffeine in it.

does anyone know what origin the goddess Aradia is and if she had a lover?

I’m working on a book for my nanowrimo and I would like to use some real mythology. I know that Her mother was Diana and her father was Lucifer and that they were siblings which is kind of creepy, but i can’t seem to find much about Aradia.

Can you give me some writing prompts?

I am doing the NaNoWriMo this year and I already have a plot but I want something to write before November as I am resisting the urge to start now.

So I would appreciate if you listed some random words that may inspire a story or two.
For those who do not know what the NaNoWriMo is, it’s a writing challange to write a first draft of a novel in 30 days from scratch so I can not start until November.
