I have a question. I am new to NaNoWriMo, having never participated, and I see that there is a “Young Adults” NaNo and a normal NaNo. The Young Adults has a count goal you set for yourself, adn the other one does not.

Which one do you use? YA NaNo? Or just NaNo?

Last year I couldn’t take part, but this year I’m planning on one of two books. Either a horror novel, or something more along the lines of historical science fiction.

What are you planning on doing for this upcoming NANO?

I’m 13, and this is my first ever year being a Nano. I’ve figured that if I write a solid 2000 words every night, then I should be done by the 26th. At this second, I’ve got about 3000 words, and will be writing at least a thousand or so before bed. I really hate what I wrote so far. What should I do? Work it into the novel? Screw the editing and just keep going? Also looking for general nanowrimo tips!
