i love reading, but im broke at the moment, so i was wondering what site i could use to download books for free. Just the normal fiction/thriller/mystery books/novels.

I would like the kind that you just can’t put down, of course. I am trying to look at a number of elements in that type of fiction for a book that I’m writing. It is one element in my book that I’m not as familiar with at the moment. Movies would be accepted too, but books are prefered.

I’m looking for good whodunnit type stuff, where the reader must figure out the situation.
Historical fiction is ok, here. No era boundaries.
Please no suggestions of stories in which the reader is just observing the characters interact and all details are disclosed. I’m already familiar with those. I am looking for true mystery.

I have read almost all of James Patterson’s books–”Cat and Mouse”; “Jack and Jilll”; “Four Blind Mice”; “Kiss the Girls”; “The Big Bad Wolf”; etc. . . What are some other really good mystery wriiters and books?

Its gotta be good like Patterson’s books are–easy to read, not too wordy and interesting, also not vulgar. Just a genuine good book by a good writer.

Let me know, as I am thirsty for another good mystery.
