I write a lot of short stories, monologues, poems & lyrics, and I am looking for a website that will allow me to post my work, where others can view it in an organized manor, and I can also read other user submitted pieces….

rate, comment or whatever on the lyrics. Do you think it is harder for people without much life experiences to write rhymes? Because a lot of rappers will most of the time say, I write about what I been through and seen everyday. So, if you haven’t seen much, do you think writing rhymes would be harder?

Had writers block, so I lit my mind on fire let the lighter talk
It came with some rhymes so rich I think some diamonds dropped
Took it straight from the book, from the page to the stage
Called the fire house told em to come and douse this blaze
It might just amaze, plus the smoke when you inhale
From the haze I heard a blind man say he smelt the brail
I couldn’t really tell, it just arose up through his nose
With every line chose he felt the words, they left him froze
It made me wonder, but my skill was still slightly under
So I released the lightning and then followed with the thunder
My lyrics were empowering, towering skys over the rest of you
Hit em then they dropped paralyzed just like a vegetable
I had it written in the rhymes but not a snap just like a picture
It was hidden within each verse attached upon the scripture
Don’t let it hit ya, it can split ya if you don’t know what you hearing
In the show because everything you don’t know, is what you fearing
Don’t think all day it might create some rational pressure
In you mind, got your searching on a hunt like national treasure
i’m really starting to think this rainman guy is really lil’ wayne or soulja boy snooping around the hip hop section seeing what people are saying about them bad. or trying to rip some hot lines

I write and would like to talk to others who write for hobbie. I do lyrics for songs gospel and country and in process of writing a book on words that god gave me as a blessing gift. I guess.

For a music theory class i have to compose a song with my choice of lyrics and I want to use a french poem. Any ideas?

I write lyrics and I used to be able to throw them out on paper really easily.
But lately I get one verse and a chorus down, and i cant get the rest.
Can anyone help?

I am in a band and it is my turn to write the lyrics (Me and my other mates take turns writing different songs so we will have more than one style) .

Now i have written many songs before but as i sit at my notebook staring i can not get any ideas about what to write i got the idea for the song but i cant find the words.

How do i get pass this situation i am in?

I have had awful writers block for upwards of two years now and it is driving me nuts…I used to write novels, novelas, poetry, lyrics everything! Now I cant even work out a haiku, which I used to do weather I ment to or not! I have tried;
Different locations, different experiences, timed writing, blogging, writing ‘assignments’, music, and everything else I can think of…is there anything I maybe havent tried yet?
