Questions

I enjoy reading romantic historical fiction books with a little mystery added in. Every book I have read lately, I can predict the end before I even finish chapter one. Does anyone know the author or a series of books that might be something I would like to read. I am a bored elementary teacher with the summer off and I love to read.

Preferrably novels without a lot of descriptive sex.

I am looking for a few ( as many as you can find ) books that fit the description of historical fiction, adventure, suspense, romance. If you’ve ever read THE CANTERBURY PAPERS, you will know exactly what I mean. I would love a another book like that!
I DON’T WANT A BOOK SET IN AMERICA OR DURING IT’S CIVIL WAR PLEASE! I WOULD LIKE IT TO BE SET IN EUROPE. prefferably with royal characters. Thank you.

I just read A Great and Terrible Beauty and the others in the series, and they were great. I plan on reading The Other Boleyn Girl but can you recommend any romantic historical fiction novels for me? Preferably not too long.
