The script of successful article writers

Article writing is a skill that eludes most people. The fact that you have a good product which could help people does not remove from the fact that you cannot write good articles about such a product that will pull a good number of visitors to your website. It is these visitors that you can now convert into paying customers. Writing good promotional articles is almost as good as having a unique marketable product. That’s why we have platforms like click bank today where vendors can use the skills of affiliates who know how to promote products and repay them with a percentage of the total cost of the product. Without the product, there can be no article, but without the article and/or sales letter, there could be no meaningful sales.

First and foremost, you should realize that anybody can write a good article as far as they have a fairly good command of the English language. It just takes a lot of practice and time. For you to be able to write good sales articles on any niche topic, you have to follow these three main steps outlined below:

Read and research: this is the first and most important step in the three step process. You have to research the niche topic or product you are writing about thoroughly. You do not want to write weak and boring articles, so you have to actually know what you are talking about. No matter what you think you know about any niche, you should have a comprehensive catalog of information about such a niche. Information such as problems and solutions, frequently asked questions, help tips etc should be researched, read, and assimilated. This will prepare you to write different articles on such a niche or product. If the product you are promoting is yours this would come naturally to you and you already know your product inside out.

Writing the article proper

When writing the article proper you should know that the article is divided into three major parts with their specific functions.

The heading; this serves as a gate way to the overall article and should be captivating enough to attract the reader. The body; this is the main ingredient of your article. It should be informative, and list the advantages of your product. The conclusion/bio box; this usually contains a strong call to action and your link/ url.

An important point to note is that when writing your article you should be in a secluded area where you would not be disturbed, if you have heard of a temporary handicap of professional writers you would know that when you are distracted from writing an article you loose that train of thought and in most cases cannot get it back. Writers block usually sets in when writing an article, so when you are writing, allow the words to flow and just keep writing. Capture the words as they flow on paper or your computer.

Editing your article: when editing your article, you should follow the three main parts of your article and make sure you keep their functions in mind. The purpose of your sales article is to lead the potential customer to your sales page. Make sure your punctuation is accurate and never try to con the reader of your article by using hype. Be informative and accurate and try to leave the reader wanting more.

How to Write a Book Like a Pro and Profit Sooner

You already have what it takes to write your book. And like other professionals you can create or increase your passive income stream each month. Your professional competitors wish you would never discover these secrets.

You may be asking “What if I’m not a professional writer?” You can still write your professional book and start earning in a few months. I am convinced your audience is waiting on your insightful expertise to help solve their problems.

All it takes is a little know how to write your book like a pro. Start by solving your readers’ problems using your expert knowledge. You know the articles, speeches and reports already in your files.

Expand one of your articles or speeches into a short book by adding short stories and some practical how-to steps. If you want to write your book like a pro and increase your income, read these five secrets and apply them:

1. Secret One. Write a short book first to build your confidence. I know short doesn’t mean the same thing to every person. For books, let’s agree 50-100 or so pages is short, even 140 sounds less intimidating than a 200-300 page book. Your future customers are busy and usually read only what takes the shortest amount of time. For example, a friend of mine wanted to learn how to conduct tele-seminars. He said he didn’t hesitate buying a short book of 70 pages at $19.97 to help him learn the ropes of tele-seminars.

Make your book simpler, shorter, and punchier. Shorten your sentences, stories and analogies. Your professional format will include a strong heading (question) your reader needs answered and the answer. This professional formula presents the problem and solution quickly without a lot of words.

2. Secret Two. Focus on one topic in your book. It’s a known fact bestsellers focus on one main topic. Focus on one topic then write each chapter to support that subject. When you overload your reader with information, you come across as disorganized, wordy and flat. Instead of including everything you know, stick to one how-to subject and include plenty of simple details with examples to make it useful to your reader.

3. Secret Three. Brand yourself, your business and your book. Think about the greatest benefit that you offer through your book or service. Consider your book and chapter titles. Now think about your keywords and headings on your website. Do you see a repeating word that stands out?

For example, the book “Win With the Writer Inside You” the author threads some form of “win” throughout her materials. Ever heard of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series? The title changes in its audience but the Chicken Soup brand stays the same. For example, there’s a Chicken Soup for Teen-agers, Chicken Soup for Mothers, and so on.

4. Secret Four. Get a professional editor or book coach. Yes, its o.k. and you should get feedback from family, friends, local writing group, etc. But you need to get a professional viewpoint of your work to weed out the passive voice, bad grammar and all the things that slow your readers down to a standstill.

Copy that appeals to the emotions of your reader sell your books. Your future customers want word pictures that they can respond to with their emotions.

5. Secret Five. Target and get to know your audience. Let’s face it not everyone will want to read your book. Most uninformed authors write what they feel is a great book; spend tons of time and sometimes money looking for people to buy it. Instead match your expert knowledge with an audience you can serve.

Consider their needs, problems and how you can help solve them. Business people are a hot audience right now. They are hungry and willing to buy what will improve, make profitable their life and business. Right now think of one to three preferred audiences in your area of expertise. Then write the book your customers will be looking for.

It’s faster to write a book if you know how. People are looking for practical information and knowledge that you have. Don’t let your ideas, knowledge and expertise fade away. Put it to work for you in a book. Remember, if you need help contact a professional book coach or take an e-course to inform yourself.

Writing can be one of the most challenging skills you can ever master. Some people find writing incredibly easy whilst others will sit for days just to push out one single article. One of the challenges all writers will face at some time is writers block. Essentially writers block occurs when the words you are trying to articulate just do not come out in the manner you wish. In some cases you may find, during writers block that you have no inspiration to write an article or do not know how to start it.

Writers block for me usually occurs when I am stressed and overworked so there are three things I recommend you try to break out of a case of writers block.

Item #1 – List Points and Write A Paragraph on the Points

When I am really challenged at writing an article I will go back to the basics. First of all I will write my heading which simply defines what I am writing about. The next step I follow is to write simple list points on what I want to cover in my article. For example in this article I wanted to give you three tips on how to over come writers block. I simply wrote them as -

Item 1. List Points and Write A Paragraph on The Points

Item 2. Meditation

Item 3. Listen to Music

Most web articles need to be a minimum of 600 words for article directories to accept them so by simply writing two or three paragraphs for each item, it will not take long to meet the criteria of 600 words.

Using this technique makes creating articles like, Seven Tips to … Four Strategies for etc really simple. By listing the items you want to share and writing a paragraph or two for each item you will easily and quickly create your article.

Finally, to complete your article simply write a lead in paragraph to the first item and a lead out paragraph after the last item to conclude your article and before you know it, you will have another fully written article.

Item #2 – Meditate

Whenever I find it really difficult to write I simply go and do a good 20 minutes of meditation. What you will find is that when you meditate, if you are doing it correctly, it should help you to clear your mind and to bring you to focus. The objective of meditation is to take the chaos we go through every single day, and to move the chaos into some form of order. Once you achieve this you will then be able to reflect on your inner self and find peace.

Okay, I can hear it now, “Oh Yeah Hippy, Want Us to Meditate do ya?” Absolutely! Look whilst meditation has certainly been a thing of fringe groups in western society or associated with eastern religions many researchers are now coming to the distinct conclusion that meditation can make a huge difference to our day-to-day lives and helps us to overcome stress and in particular writers block.

The core advantage meditation will play in your life is to help you to relax and deal with challenging situations more effectively. The more relaxed you are the more creative you can be in dealing with your creative issues. I certainly recommend that when you are meditating, that you use baroque music with your meditation as it will help increase the alpha waves which will help lead you to a calm feeling. This is especially useful if you do not have a long period to meditate. I recommend a 20 minute meditation session at least once a day preferably two. You will be really surprised the difference it makes to your day. Just try it out, you have nothing to loose and a few hundred articles to gain.

Personally I find after a good meditation session I can pump out five to ten articles which I think is a great way to get ahead.

Item #3 – Listen to Music

Listening to music is a great way to beat writers block however, be warned, some music can in fact make your writers block worse. The sort of music you should be listening to is Baroque Music at 60 beats per minute. Research has shown that this type of music actually releases alpha waves in both our left and right sides of our brains. In doing this, it helps us to fell calm, similar to whistling a happy tune.

The “Alpha” state of mind is ideal for developing articles as it heightens creativity and learning. Many of my colleagues use Baroque music in their memory learning seminars specifically because Baroque Music heightens the learning and creativity parts of the brain.

Writers block can be one of the great challenges you will have to face at some stage in your writing career. These three items I have listed above have helped me breeze through a writers block saga and ensure that I can effectively continue to do the work I enjoy. Just to finish off I want to reiterate the three things I recommend you try if you are suffering writers block:

Item #1 – List Points and Write A Paragraph on the Points

Item #2 – Meditate

Item #3 – Listen to Music
