I have a gcse coursework task of creating a short story demonstrating creative writing skills. Seeing the coursework is looking for good metaphors, simeles ect i decided to go with film noir style dialouge. Things like “My body made me a thousand promises of pain”

My real problem is that i cant find direction, i have startde with a man smoking a cigar thinking about the wisps of smoke, then him setting off to make the “Decision of his life”.

So what should the plot be?

I cheated in my GCSE creative writing coursework by copying some bits out of a book and just handed it in about 5 weeks ago. What should i tell my teacher and how do you think she will react or what will she do.

I have to do a Creative Writing essay/piece for English and I know that I want to do a story but I need ideas.

I was thinking a horror story, because they are more interesting. But who will the characters be and what will they do? What will happen? Please don’t miss out any details if you decide to answer.
