i have a report on historical fiction and my friends said i should use it

Me and my dad have been trying to think of the title or author of a book we read years ago. It was historical fiction about a boy during the first world war who lived with his dad. His dad was a scientist working on whatever bomb (atomic or nuclear I can’t remember) they were building in New Mexico. At the beginning of the book the boy’s friend falls off a building and dies. The boy becomes friends with a kid who’s parents are Russian spies… their attack dogs come after the boy at one point and there is a man who gets seriously injured from all the radiation and gives the boy a pair of sunglasses, telling him the bomb is “the sun” and he should stay as far away from it as he can.
Anyone remember reading this book and can give me some clues as to the author or title?

My son needs help socially. What are boys that age into, besides sports? My son likes fantasy/ science fiction. If I were to give him some pointers on conversation starters, what should I tell him? Are there any games, activities that he could promote on the playground to help him make friends?

i can write fiction books pretty good, draw, hack(barely though), i have a lot of friends and am good with people, good at sports play guitar, lotsa of stuff. but Everywhere i go, im too young too submit stuff, design games and other things i want to do, there isnt even a place that teaches about that stuff. scchool and home and the “norm” life isnt enough but what can i do now?

I want it to express my deep and passonate love for her. I want it to express that I’am always here for her when there is a loss (death) in her life that has greatly affected her (recently some family members died).

She recently went on vacation with three of her friends and I want to be able to give the poem to her tomorrow when I see her.

Anyone know any good poems or could help guide me in making one Thanks so much.

My online account name is Kristin, or some of my friends call me Kris for short. My character will be, sort of weird and freaky, like the hyper and sexy one in her clique of friends. She’s got her own thing going on. She’s supportive of her friends and she’s very out-going. She’ll also be looked up do to her high status in the game.

The name I’m looking for now will be my strongest character for this season, so I want the name to really stand out!
Also, just to give a bit more info about my character - she very quickly swings a lot of hammers to kill monsters for her team.

I’m writing a short story for school, and we can only use the word said once. Oh and if you have any ideas for my story to be better, go for it. The assignment is for a simple two to three page short story we can’t say the word said too many times, and the beginning is already set for us. I’m with my friends and we hear a sound and go after it. That’s it. I like English I just need to be inspired, just in case you think I’m trying to make you do my homework for me or something.
