Questions

I’m in a book slump and need some help. I generally like books where there is a strong female, not the whole damsel in distress kind of girl. Any suggestions?

The only criteria is:
-A fiction book with a historical setting
-It has to be set at least one hundred years ago
-It has to be finished by 5/1.

Any suggestions?
It is recommended for like 5th graders, and I’m in 9th grade Advanced English… please make it a lot more challenging.

I figured I would start with an outline of how the book is going to go. It is a murder mystery book btw. I also figured I would make a list of the characters and jot down things about them like looks, personality, and so on. If anyone has any ideas on where/how to start this process I would be forever grateful. Thanks in advance.

Anything that is fiction, fantasy, or romance wopuld be great! ^_^ I also like books on vampires and witchcraft and magical stuff like the whol warriors and magic or dragon plots. Any suggestion would be great. Oh and I have already read a few books like:
Harry potter
sunshine
The faerie path
Beauty:the retelling of beauty and the beast
Vampire kisses
Dead witch walking
Moonlight knight
God stalk
A taste of darkness
magyk
Mary janic davidson’s undead and unwed series.
and twilight-but I am still waiting for the 2nd and 3rd book to come into the library.
I have also read mystery or crime books like:
The sinner
Blindspot
Countdown
and a few others.

I can’t seem to find a fiction book about European History. It is required that we read one over the summer for AP Euro.

I read A LOT, and I’m looking for another good book. Preferably in the Middle Ages, with a female heroine. If possible, no magic. Historical disasters aren’t bad either, like the Alamo or the Titanic. PLEASE don’t recommend anything about the Triangle Shirtwaist fire, I’ve read pretty much everything about it and I’m sick of it.

I am in the 10th grade, going into the 11th, just so you know.
Oh yeah, and no manga. It needs to be a real book. Not that manga arent real books, i just don’t really like them. I’m really picky, lol.

Looking for books to read this summer. Please recommend some to me. I’m not looking for romance novels. If you don’t know the difference, please don’t answer. Historical fiction with female leading characters are especially interesting to me.
