;Fantasy Writing
I am writing a novel that I would consider to be fantasy. I am writing with 1″ margins, single spaced 12 pt font times new roman. How long would it have to be to be considered a novel?
Would steps would have to be taken to submit to a publisher without an agent?

I have a good story line and everything but I just don’t know how to put a world together. Do you go really outlandish or try to keep it as simple as possible?

I’m writing about a boy who finds out he’s a wizard .I’m working out the kinks, but how do I incorporate firearms REALISTICLLY in a fantasy culture where swords were originally going to be the weapon of choice?

I’ve been searching a few weeks now for a site with fantasy writing prompts or free-writes to have fun with. I’ve found quite a few wonderful sites that have fictional writing prompts, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a site that dealt with the fantasy genre. Thank you so much for your help! I really appreciate it : )!

I don’t really want to do anything that’s been overdone and I don’t want to do anything that might be too cheesy. I want something that involves realism but includes aspects of fantasy. Help? Thanks!
