What makes a piece of poetry appealing?
I’ve noticed that when I write something targetting at people who read alot of peotry; it doesn’t appeal to a general reader, and vice versa.
I’ve written pieces that other poets love, but casual readers don’t think make sense. At the same time, pieces that casual readers compare to famous poets, but other professional poets will claim as cliche’ or overdone.
So what makes a piece of poetry appealing?
