My english teacher assighned our class to write a short story about anything but it has to be 6 pages typed..So does anyone know what i can write about, bcuz i have no clue and i just need to write about something…=]

i have to do a book report, i don’t have a book and it is due on monday.
the genre is historical fiction, so i need a list of some historical fiction movies that are based on a book and that are very similar to the book so that my english teacher can’t tell i watched the movie instead.

I want to write novels, but i want to be an English teacher to fall back on.
Either Jr high or high school.
Will this work to become a teacher?
The college i want to go to only offers a Bachelor of Arts.
would i need to move on and to a bigger college after to Get a masters if i want to be a teacher?

yeah, so i’m supposed to write a short story for my english honors class. my teacher is very cool and likes odd yet compelling things. any ideas? and please don’t say just think of somethign and it will come. because i’ve been doing that for a week and i got nothing.

I was thinking before that I might have to major in English just in case my novel-writing doesn’t work out. However, I realized that I wasn’t actually sure if I couldn’t teach English at a school just because I majored in Creative Writing. The plan is that if the novel doesn’t work out, then I go back and get my teaching degree. Would I need to major in English to teach it?
