Are they a good agency? Have you ever heard of them?
I am a first time writer and finished a Fantasy Fiction novel. I contacted this agency and they sent me an email requesting the manuscript. i am a little afraid that they might be fraud or something. This is their main website:
http://www.wlwritersagency.com/index.html
and this is their sub-website:
http://www.wlchildrensagency.com/index.html
I did my research about them, but did not find much. PLEASE guys, if you can, please find out if they are honost or not. I will continue my research. Thank you all so much. This place helped me alot in the past. Thanks again. - Sky Star

I am writing a novel! I want some unique situations or characters. So if you wouldn’t mind telling me about yourself…that would be awesome! I love interviewing people so if anyone wants to just email me so I can interview them, that would be great! - burberryicon

Okay, I’ve been having some SEVERE writer’s block lately, so I need everyone to help me!! I just need a plot/beginning, characters and personalities! Email me if you want and I will be in touch to tell you if I will make a story with your ideas, and, eventually, I will email the actual story! Thanx all!
I write fiction and I mainly write about realistic-fiction, aiming towards teenagers, and young love and romance. I don’t know if that helps any of you, but I hope it does! - Meria

I would like to submit to a poetry magazine and one of the requirements for submission is to include “biographical information” in the cover letter. What does this mean? Is it my name, address, phone, email, and et cetera or do they want to know my life story or something?
Forgot to mention, I already have a copy of Poet’s Market (that’s how I found the magazine I wanted to submit to) and couldn’t find any suggestions about it in there. - Annie

Getting an agent was delaying my writing something fierce. I was spending most of my time sending out query letters instead of doing what a writer should do and that is write. Finally I stumbled across what seemed to be a miracle. I found Publishamerica’s website. Since I had written over one thousand query letter’s writing something that would capture a publishers interest was no problem. I wrote a query letter in a style that I found to work. I asked the publisher a question about a character in my novel and I used it as a hook.
I was very excited when a day later I received a request for my novel. I thought I was being scammed but this proved to be the break that I needed to get my writing career off of the ground. I do not advise anyone who wants to be a serious author to use a vanity publisher unless you know how to market you own novels. I tired and realized that I was not as knowlegeable in the art of marketing books the way that I thought I was. I wrote a great novel and proofread it myself and when the book was published the typo’s stood out like a sore thumb. I was so dissappointed that I had almost wanted to give up but then I found Publishamerica who proofread and edited my novel for nothing.
There are many ways to get your novels published and critiqued for free by joining a writers group and making great friends in the process. I have gotten reviews and encouragement in these groups and we are all like a close family.
