The script starts in the endless abyss of space. “Camera pans out from a single star ***? it does thousands more stars can be ***?en, space except for the alien masses of rock is empty and devoid of life. ***? the view of the stars expands we ***?e a superior star ****?p appear. Behind is a massive whirl of stars and on the event ****?izon of the wormhole is the black darkness the ****?p has come from. This superior star ****?p ***? the camera expands appears ever smaller in the universe.” script extract

The ****?p is carrying military ***?rsonnel along with space tourists they are desperate to ***?e beyond our universe and colonated space. some of the military ****?ted more than just a ride on the space elevator and could not afford the trip so signed up in the military. The ****?p encounters a core orbital platform devoid of life. On a 28 day depressurising cycle (every 28 days everything
gets blown out into space. They discover licks of plasma throughout the ****?p and that according to the logs this platform is billions of years old. They would dock and take the platform back to Earth, ****? our character ****?ts to ***?e more of Space. The plasma synced creatures attack and they learn of technology so devestating it threatens the very existence of their universe

I’m looking for I book a read a long time ago. Science Fiction, you human race had expanded to other planets. This was financed by companies that then make their money back by raiding the colonies for useful technology to take back to earth. Its about a young man that runs away from his planet and joins the raiders, and he eventually is able to travel back in time to help himself run away and then take over for his younger self and pretend like it never happened and live happily ever after. I dont know the title or auther, I’ve tried so many ways to find this. Thanks.

I’m not talking science fiction. I realize that our current propulsion capabilities make it impossible to travel there in one lifetime. but does anyone think that we have the capability to create a self sustaining colony vessle that will serve several generations and will travel to the nearest “earth like” planet. Do we have the energy resources, food development, and recycling capabilites?

Ok, I know this is a bit of a far fetched question but I was just curious.

The story came out in Analog or Isaac Asimov’s Science Fiction magazine maybe in the 1980’s and involved testing centers established by these aliens that faster-than-light travel. They would test all human children and if the kids were able to teleport then they’d take the children. Humans resisted at first but the aliens were brutal. I recall they killed everyone in Wichita, Kansas to make an example of what happens to anyone that resists them. So there were testing centers all over the world and human children were tested, a small percentage were abducted, then one child teleported back to Earth after being abducted but the aliens took her back to their planet. It enraged the humans who decided that no child goes to the alien planet twice. They posted solders at every testing center.

Are we limited to our own planet? Or will we ever live on other worlds or moons? And if we do ever succeed at space travel, how many centuries or generations will it take us? What kind of people will be likely to leave Earth?
This is a science-fiction question, so use imagination realistically, realizing how difficult the engineering and biological problems of living “off-world” would be.

I signed up for NaNoWriMo this year and I have this really vivid plot idea in my head but I just can’t think of a title or how to start the story. Here’s the basic overview:

Samantha (the protagonist) has a pretty normal life for a sixteen year old, but one day she runs into the slightly perverted Ayden (I need help on how they meet). He knows too much about her and her life, to the point where he’s begun to subtly hint what goes on in her dreams. He’s not human, that much she knows especially when he appears out of no where, disappears randomly and can make flames appear in his hand, but it’s not until he begins to question her about God and the afterlife that she worries. He’s far too fascinated in what she believes will happen when she dies and fears begin to form, meanwhile Ayden is trying his hardest to win her over. He’s perverted constantly, always attempting to “touch her up”. About a third way into the story, Ayden meets Samantha’s best friend (let’s call him X for now) and Ayden discovers that he is not who he seems and is intent on seperating the two of them, especially when X recognises who Ayden is and suddenly ups the ante and tells Samantha he loves her. Lots of other stuff happen, but the basic outcome is that the Earth was created by four Gods, four elements. Ayden is the Fire, Nerina is the Water, Anil is the Air and finally, Samantha (or as Ayden knows her: Horina) is the Earth. Samantha’s best friend is another God but he’s taken the wrong path. (For the next part, you need to imagine that a world exists in which these Gods live, and there are many and they entertain themselves by creating other worlds) In the world of the Gods, Ayden and Samantha grew up together along with Nerina, Anil and X. Ayden and Samantha were extremely close to one another and X was jealous. When they finish “God School”, Ayden, Samantha, Nerina and Anil created the Earth, but as Ayden and Samantha grew close and X grew more evil, troubles arose causing Ayden to send Samantha down to the Earth as a human until it was safe. She’s been there for five thousand years. Everytime she dies, she reincarnates herself (The God part of her mind knowing Ayden is right to do this) and is reborn as a new human. Eventually, X disappears and Ayden plans to bring Samantha back but a new problem arises when X turns half-human and befriends Samantha (her human mind not knowing of the risk) and Ayden, with the help of Nerina and Anil, must save her. Yaddah, yaddah. As I said, a brief overview. Sorry if it’s long-winded. So yeah, I need help with how Samantha and Ayden first meet, it needs to be dramatic and an instant clue that Ayden isn’t quite human, and I need a title to use for it. Suggestions?

I have a biology project and were doing it over
evolution starting with the begining of earth and ending
now. I need a creative way to present the timline. All my pictures though have to be hand drawn. Also it needs to be pretty big
