As a christian, you be told that certain media are off limits? Like you should only read ****?ks that are only geared to Christianity, ****? you still enjoy ****?d medical thrillers, and Science Fiction. Is there anything really wrong with reading what you love? I would love everyone’s input!
The thing is, I read ****?d Christian fiction, ****? I still love things that are about love and romance, and science fiction. I adore those, ****? I still love God.

I read a book a few years ago and I cannot remember the name of the book or the author. It was about a man whose father died and he left his son a (mysterious) note. The father was an archeologist in the Middle East and the son decided to go finish what his father started. I believe his wife goes with him and they meet some other characters in the Holy Land and all sorts of amazing things happen. Has anybody read this book or heard of it? Please let me know any info you might have as I really would like to read it again. Thanks!

I’m interested in writing Christian fiction for teens. What would be the best way to get Christian ideals across to the reader without sounding so preachy?

I have some issues with Christian fiction. Most of it is poorly written. It can get preachy sometimes and then I feel guilty for not enjoying the book, which leads me to wonder if Christian fiction is kind of an oxymoron. Do books written by a Christian from a Christian worldview (but not necessarily about Christians) count as “Christian fiction”? Can anyone give examples of what they consider to be quality Christian fiction?

I think this book was published in about 1993 or 1994 and was about a guardian angel who killed his charge. Who wrote it and what is the title?

I’ve finally finished writing my first book (yay!!) and I’m looking for a publishing company to submit to. Does anyone have any suggestions for maybe a smaller publishing company, maybe one that specializes in Christian fiction? Maybe even African-American Christian fiction? I figure I might have better luck the smaller, more specialized I get. Thanks!
