Who is a ****?d writer (Nanowrimo help)?

In need to write a story for NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) in my English class, and I’ve got writer’s block. I was wondering if anybody could give me some idea’s to help out my story. Here’s my basic storyline (well this is kind of a prologue I wrote for it):
Life isn’t ***? easy ***? it was 500 years ago. A simple task ****?h ***? crossing the street could lead to your untimely demise. The year is 2508. The stock market has completely crashed. Money ***? we know it is worth absolutely nothing. Things we used to take for granted are now our only form of ***?rrency. Due to diseases being spread throughout the air, the average lifespan of a human being is now about 40 years old, and animals have been mutilated into much bigger animals due to diseases. “The Element of One” is a story about Michael Hudson, a man with a ***?mily, struggling to survive in the wasteland formerly known ***? the United States of America.
Well i have an overall plot (listed above) ****? I just need help with some ideas to help move the plot along.

What are some good short stories about wilderness survival appropriate for 7th graders?

I’m teaching a unit on survival surrounding Jack London’s The Call of the Wild. We’re focusing on the idea of primordial instinct and the questionably immoral things that people and animals do when survival instincts kick in. We’re also talking about which of those things we consider excusable and inexcusable and why.

I’m looking for short stories (preferably fiction rather than totally true personal narratives) that focus on these themes. Ideally, I’d like to have them read something that isn’t about the cold — maybe something about a desert, ocean, or tropical location would work better.

Any ideas?

What is the literary term when a character in a fiction ‘comes alive’ (in the story itself)? ?

It is when a story talks about a character–it may be an inanimate object too — and it comes alive as though it is a real character. (like those animals in the movie Jhumanji). Can someone tell me what this literary term is? Thanks!

Animal fiction/adventure?

Hello, I’d like to know some animal fiction/adventure titles, especially some where the animals talk. I’ve enjoyed Guardians of Ga’hoole and Warriors, so something in the genre and style of those two would be great. Thanks.

I have to write a short story that includes an act of moral courage?

I have to write a short story, about 500 words, that includes an act of moral courage. Like Joan of Ark or Simpson and his donkey in Anzac. It can be fantasy or about animals or anything.
Any ideas?
Something not too complicated. I’m not a very good writer. The teacher is checking the first 3 paragraphs tomorrow.
