I am trying to get a book that I have written published and i am coming up to the same barrier of publishers not accepting unsolicited manuscripts, how am i supposed to be given a chance? Was wondering if anyone can help and provide a list of publishers (pref in UK) who DO accept unsolicited manuscripts or new authors?? My book is fantasy/adventure fiction for older children or adults (sort of Harry Potter style)
Please help I would be so grateful as I have worked so hard

What is the difference between books that are written for teenagers and books written for adults? I have to write an essay that explains this subject (it has to be 8 pages). Any ideas?

I love reading, but I don’t know what books to buy. I like fantasy based stories, royalty, adventure. I hate horror stories and anything to do with killing others or self. I also want to increase my vocabulary too.
Suggestions?
That’s for adults not teens or kids

I want to write a story about a teenager and a young kid, but it is hard making it not seem like it is written for readers of those ages. Any suggestions?

I have a short story/poem that I believe would be wonderful in book format for young Christians and adults. What is the best way to get this work published, and who do you take something like this to?

I’ll be teaching a creative writing class this summer to a group of 11-14 year-olds. I have experience teaching writing (mostly poetry) to adults, but teaching kids will be new territory. Does anyone have some great tips, websites, resources for exercises, and reading materials for this age group? Thanks!
