;Adult Fiction
good young adult historical fiction needed -please read inside-?
I’m looking for some good Young adult historical fiction for a teen girl.
Nothing that takes place in America, unless it’s Alaska or something. Those kinds of books have been said and done.
I really love books that take place a long, long time ago. Medevial times and such. Romances are a plus but are not necessary. Thanks!

Looking for a Young Adult Civil War Fiction Series?
I’m looking for a series of books I read in about 6th grade. They were about the Civil War, and told the story of two young boys, one white and one black, who were friends with one another despite the racial differences and the time period. I believe it was a five book series. I read the books approximately 7 - 8 years back, but I can’t recall their names or author.
Perhaps something to do with “red haired” or “captive” or “slave,” and I believe “series” was included in the general title of each.
Thanks for your help. =)

Are there any good adult fiction books without any mention of sex in them?
I’m looking for some interesting stuff to read but I really can’t deal with anything that has to do with sex (please don’t ask). Fiction, horror, mystery and suspence, whatever. No non-fiction.
It’s ridiculous that I have to add this but don’t answer if you’re going to say something like “Life has sex so books should”.
It doesn’t help and it’s annoying.
Further more. When I say “adult”, I don’t mean sexual. I mean reading on par with an adults level of understanding and reasoning. Not the children’s/adolescent’ section of the library.

Will any of Eva Ibbotson’s historical fiction books be made into movies?
Eva Ibbotson has written four young adult, historical fiction novels, A Countess Below Stars, A Song for Summer, A Company of Swans, and The Morning Gift. They are all spectacular and should be made into movies. I even Googled this question and didn’t come up with anything. Do any of you have any clues as to whether I should even hope for this to happen?
