Sci-Fi, Time Travel discovered while raiding a planet for technology allows a boy to relive his life?

I’m looking for I book a read a long time ago. Science Fiction, you human race had expanded to other planets. This was financed by companies that then make their money back by raiding the colonies for useful technology to take back to earth. Its about a young man that runs away from his planet and joins the raiders, and he eventually is able to travel back in time to help himself run away and then take over for his younger self and pretend like it never happened and live happily ever after. I dont know the title or auther, I’ve tried so many ways to find this. Thanks.

I’m sorry that I don’t know your book, but if your question goes unanswered, here are some other places you can post your description:

Loganberry Books is a bookstore in Ohio. For two dollars (you can pay by PayPal), the owner will post your query to the “Stump the Bookseller” page. I’ve seen a lot of success here. This is the oldest place on the web that I know of that ID’s books.

AbeBooks.com’s “BookSleuth Forum” is an interactive message forum where you can get instantaneous feedback on your description. Make sure you read the “TIPS” thread before posting, because it contains a lot of information to help you formulate a good post. Members are from all over the world. It is free, but you must register before posting.

This is a relatively new website, but seems to be fairly well attended. You have to register to post.

Good luck in finding your book!
