Opinions or Tips on writing a Novel?
Okay, i have an idea for a novel but I don’t know where to start. I’m thinking I’d like about 100 or so pages for this book, but how does that translate into computer pages? I also don’t know if i should write as a narrator or as first person. If anyone has any opinions or tips I would be forever grateful.

Well, you can check by hitting the “read” button. This puts it into pages (like books) form. Also, make sure you have an outline that is detailed so you know where you are going. You don’t need to follow it completely, but it’s very helpful to have one.

A typical novel usually runs between 85K and 120K words. Formatted (dbl spaced, 1″ margins, Courier 12) that comes to 340-480 pages.
100 formatted pages will get you a novella or a very short novel with a limited market, i.e., very few traditional print publishers work with that length.
You can pick whatever POV best works for your story.
Honestly, the best tip is to just start. If you plan and plan, but never write, then none of what I say will do you any good. Just write the story.
