Wouldn’t that be cool? I think they do a screenwriting version in the summer. Did you win? I came in at just short of 67K words plus I had a job in November – a ghostwrite – that added another 10K words to November. It was a busy month.

They’re, Their, There – Three Different Words.
I’d say because it’s a rather large undertaking and they have to get by on donations. It’s also special, and if it comes by every few months, it doesn’t seem so. I’d also expect it takes some time to get ready for the next go round, and they are expanding (like the script writing).
I completed it this year (!) and expect to do the Script Frenzy (think it’s April) and get ready for next year, but I am almost positive I wouldn’t have it in me to try NaNoWriMo every other month or even three times a year. I had to put in some 5K+ days because I got behind. With it over, it’s time to edit and revise, and if you have something there, get it to someone. Now THAT would be excellent!
