Lesbian detective/mystery fiction?

Anyone know any good lesbian detective/mystery books? or series? I read some by Jenny Roberts and Claire McNab. Just wondered if anyone had any recommendations?
They don’t have lesbian ones just good mystery novels?
Sorry i meant they don’t have to be lesbian detective/mystery novels, just good stories… but would like that as a preference…

Have you tried the Jane Lawless series by Ellen Hart?

Laurie R. King’s Kate Martinelli is the best lesbian detective series I have run across.
I can’t really fault her on anything.

Sara Paretsky’s V.I. Warshawsky series is really good too.

Ellen Hart is a very nice person. Her books aren’t terrific but they aren’t awful either
    and her main is lesbian.

R.D. Zimmerman has a gay male main and some lesbians here and there.
Those really aren’t very good books but he’s also a very nice person and, hey, you might like them better than I did, who knows?

Liza Cody’s main character scorns sex in all its forms but she’ll kick any butt that comes her way.

These are straight mains the rest of the way down.

Nevada Barr’s Anna Pigeon is really a great, unusual character. I bet you’d like her.

Margaret Maron is another real favorite of mine. Great character, super clean writing.

Julie Smith is very high on my list too.

Sue Grafton’s Kinsey Millhone is pretty good, but you’ve probably read those.

Lynda LaPlante has a good female cop. Kathy Reichs’ books are well written.
    Minette Walters is good too.

Here’s a link to a site that might interest you.

    Good luck with your search!
